Blue Note Jazz Fest Presents Black Radio Experience

About this Program

Sing for Hope is honored to partner with five-time Grammy winner Robert Glasper for the Blue Note Jazz Festival’s Black Radio Experience, celebrating the rich intersections of jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and Black creative expression. For this collaboration, acclaimed visual artist Frankie Zombie created a collection of six new Sing for Hope Pianos, making the globally recognized program an interactive centerpiece of the event. Attendees engaged with the fusion of music and art in real time, as Frankie Zombie live-painted one of the Sing for Hope Pianos on-site, bringing a unique, experiential layer to the festival.

The Sing for Hope Pianos

Sing for Hope Pianos is a global arts program that creates artist-designed pianos, places them in public spaces for everyone to enjoy, then transports and activates them year-round in schools, hospitals, and community centers worldwide. Sing for Hope has provided more pianos for under-resourced public schools than any other organization in the world.
